George Washington's Birthday is a Federal Holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. The holiday was specifically designated to honor George Washington but has generally evolved to recognize all the presidents. Many states, retailers, and others now refer to the holiday as Presidents Day. Washington's Birthday (or Presidents Day) will next be celebrated on February 15, 2027.
