This statue of George Washington is located on the grounds of the North Carolina State Capitol in Raleigh. It is on the south side of the Capitol building facing Morgan Street. This statue was dedicated in 1857 and is a copy of the original by Jean-Antoine Houdon at the Virginia State Capitol.
