This statue of Ronald Reagan commemorates Reagan's vist to the 1984 Polish American Festival held on the grounds of The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Reagan is seated next to Jennie Gowaty, the festival chair, and is depicted eating a Polish potato pancake which he did while at the festival. The monument, dedicated in 2006, features inscriptions in both English and Polish and was sculpted by Teresa and Dariusz Kowalski of Warsaw, Poland.
