This statue features Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, and Andrew Johnson. Jackson's exact location of birth is unknown, but was along the North-South Carolina border. The statue is on the east side of the capitol building facing Wilmington Street. It was sculpted by Charles Keck and dedicated in 1948.
