This statue of Abraham Lincoln and the historical marker are both on the grounds of the Atchison County Courthouse in Atchison, Kansas. Lincoln delivered an address near this location on December 2, 1859. The statue was sculpted by Aleda Haug and was dedicated in 2023. The historical marker was placed by the Atchison Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution in 1917. In the first photo below the historical marker is on the far left and the Lincoln statue is on the far right.
