John F. Kennedy Tribute

Address: General Worth Square, Main & 8th Streets, Fort Worth, Texas

This memorial, known as the JFK Tribute, is across the street from what was the Hotel Texas (the building directly left of the memorial as shown in the photos below), where President Kennedy spent the night on November 21, 1963, the day before his assassination. On the morning of November 22, Kennedy delivered remarks on the site of the memorial to those who had gathered outside the hotel. This memorial was dedicated in 2012. An additional historical marker, not part of this memorial, is located about a block away from the JFK Tribute.
