This equestrian statue of Andrew Jackson is located on the grounds of the former Jackson County Courthouse in Independence, Missouri. It was sculpted by Charles Keck and dedicated in 1949. The plaque noting Jackson was a slave owner and signed the Indian Removal Act was added in 2021.
