This statue of Gerald Ford depicts him as a 14 year old Eagle Scout and is front of the President Ford Field Service Council building in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Ford was the only president to have been an Eagle Scout. This statue was sculpted by Charles C. Parks and dedicated in 1997. There is an identical statue inside the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. The newer looking plaques in the photos below were designed for the Museum and were also placed on this older monument.
