This statue of Dwight Eisenhower is located at the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Kansas. In 2015, the airport was named for Eisenhower, who grew up about an hour and half from the airport in Abilene, Kansas. This statue was sculpted by Jim Brothers in 2002 and is a smaller replica of a statue in National Statuary Hall at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. and at the Kansas State Capitol in Topeka.
