Joe Biden lived in this house until he was 10 years old. At that time, it was owned by his maternal grandfather, Ambrose Finnegan. Biden visited the home on November 3, 2020, the day on which he was elected and signed a wall, "From This House to the White House with the Grace of God" as shown in the photo below. His boyhood home is currently privately owned and not open to the public. The house is on Washington Avenue which has been given given the honorary name of Joe Biden Way.
